| I am doing research on the Swensen and Howard family from Colorado Springs, Colorado. I have traced both sides of the family back seven + generations, back to the 1700s. The Swensens were and still are in South East South Dakota,Turner,Clay and Yankton counties; the Howards were from Northwestern Iowa, Sioux and Plymouth counties.
