Andrew Berry purchased the 500-watt
transmitter equipment for station KSO from WHO in Des Moines. WHO
replaced this 500-watt transmitter with a 1,000-watt transmitter in
1924.
George Davison of Des Moines (he's on WHO and is a radio-history-buff) sent me the attached photo of the KSO equipment when it was being used by WHO, prior to the time Mr. Berry bought it and brought it to Clarinda. Hey, is that interesting or what??
