ASHTON HAS FIRST LEGION POST
The first post of the American Legion in Osceola county has been organized at Ashton. Its application for a charter has been favorably considered and the charter will soon be forwarded. It has been designated as No. 209 and named the William Ben Hoffman post, in honor of the first young man in the community to make the supreme sacrifice in action. The post has some forty-five charter members and Bert DeVries is acting as temporary secretary.
