Whinery, J.S.,

Far (farmer)., S. 22; P.O. Marshalltown; born in Columbiana Co., Ohio, in 1839; came to this county in Oct., 1866; owns 110 acres of land. Has held the office of Town Trustee. He enlisted in he 104^th Ohio V.I. in the late war, and served three years. He married Caroline Bennett in 1866; she was born in the same county; have two children—Elizabeth M. and Martha I.; lost two sons.
