- SHARP / REAM
- The Ream and Sharp families immigrated from PA in
1855-56. Several sons served in the IA, IN and PA Volunteer Infantry
units during the American Civil War. I have information regarding
selective units, specifically the 7th Regiment of IA, Volunteer
Infantry. There are also several new found "cousins" who are

- SHAW / FAZENBAKER / BEAVERS
- Seeking information about the family of Thompson SHAW and
Louisa FAZENBAKER. Both Thompson (Oct 1827-Sept 1878) and
Louisa (1832-Jan 1905) were b. in Allegany County, MD; m. November
1851. According to Louis E. Hicks, a Fazenbaker researcher, the SHAWs
spent 6 years on the family estate before moving to WV with their
daughter (no name given). From there, the family moved via wagon train
to Beacon, Iowa, and from there to Taintor, Iowa. Children: James H;
William N; Larns W; Ellenora, m. George GARNER. A son and
daughter of Thompson's brother John, also settled in Mahaska Co.:
Rebecka Susan BEAVERS and William L. SHAW. I have
considerable information on the earlier generations of these families.

- Desperately seeking twin half brothers due to medical emergency of
my cancer diagnosis and poor prognosis: Charles Walter Streever
& Carlton Joseph Steever, b. 21 May 1941 at 10:40/11:am at the
home of their grandmother by her, Eva Norris Swanson located at
617 4th Street, Des Moines. The twins mother is Ruth Jane Kruzick
Swanson, 18 years' old at time of birth, b. 1922-23. Our father
was Roy Raymond Streever, Jr, b. 13/Feb 1923; d. 2 Aug 1965
under name Roy Raymond Stephens in Dade Co. FL. Roy, Jr. and Ruth m.
in Des Moines on 31 Aug 1940, witnesses to marriage; Roy Streever and
Charles Swanson. My mother and Roy Streever, Jr. were married in Des
Moines on 19 March 1949 and divorced because of father's dessertion in
1957. Roy Streever, Jr's parents were Roy Raymond Streever, Sr. b.
1884 in Clear Lake, Cerro Gordo co. IA (his parents were Charles
Albert Streever and Nade Osborn) and Minnie Ethel Beadle, b. @ 1895 in
Beacon, IA. Minnie's parents were Frances Sanford Beadle, b. 1854 and
Grace, b. 1868. Minnies's siblings were Alice, Bud, John and Frankie
Beadle. Roy Sr., and Minnie were married on 18 Feb 1922. Have pictures
of Charles Walter and Carlton Joseph Streever at @ 4 years old in

Frankie and Ludwig owned a store in Rose Hill; moved to Macon co. MO,
@1900. I cannot find a marriage date for them and do not their
parents. Ludwig, b. Denmark, immigrated sometime in 1870's. There are

around 1860: William F. Wells and wife Alice M. lived in
Chariton, Lucas co. Tolber Wells and wife Annie S lived in
Oskaloosa around 1890; Oliver Charles Wells, b. in Bridgeport,
Fayette co. PA, 1848; m. Mary C. Holloway in Oscaloosa where their
son, Jesse, was born. Elizabeth WELLS m. John Ratliff.
Oliver, Tobert, William and Elizabeth were siblings. The family was
from Fayette co. PA. I am also seeking info on Mary C. Holloway
whose mother Rachel died giving birth to twins. We believe these
