Uriah W. Heater came to Iowa in 1885, located in Madison County,
Iowa - daughter says he had a great love for his comrades and
county, always ready to serve. Rebecca Hiskey transferred to Aux 8 -
20 May 1949

Note, CSA Veterans of Washington claim this Uriah Heater as their
own. This is the only GAR member from Madison County whose sources
are not official documents.
