Curtis W. Gregory, son of Minnie - living 1953 at Adel, Iowa "may have veteran's discharge paper. Veteran died at her home in Des Moines. Curtis a private Atty in Adel now, served previously in Atty General's office (state). Informant re deaths & living 1953 - Arthur Bowlsby.

Have photograph of him taken in October 1862 at Davenport - another when he was 75 years of age with his drum. (These photographs may still be in the possession of the Iowa Historical Library in Des Moines which possesses the original GAR documentation).
