 Land Description The above plat of Silverwood's Third Addition is a sketch of that recorded in Deed Record 6, pages 48 and 49, filed June 7, 1879. This plat "represents Silverwood's Third Addition to Pleasant Grove Burying Ground situated in the East Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 34, Township 76 North, Range 12 West of the 5th P.M., and embraces Blocks 26 to 58, inclusive. The Northeast corner of Block 26 is 6 feet west of the Northwest corner of Block 25 in Silverwood's Addition to said Burying Ground. There is a surplus of 4 inches in measurement east and west in Blocks 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 56, 57, and 58, being made in that way to correspond with the width of lots and blocks in the former addition which upon careful and accurate measurement was found to contain a surplus of 4 inches to each block east and west in said additions. The width of alleys and streets as well as of the lots are of the width and size indicated in the accompanying plat. Good oak stakes are driven firmly at the corners of each block. Silverwood and guardian of his minor children adopted the within survey. Signed and duly acknowledged by Ellen W. Silverwood, and filed for record. Headstones Note: V in the margin before a name designates a veteran. M in the margin before a name designates that there is no stone at the grave, but a funeral home metal marker marks the grave site.
