Obituary

DUNLAP, IL - Michael D. Wilkinson, 71, of Dunlap died at 8:24 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at Heartland Health Care Center in Peoria.

Michael was born Nov. 1, 1941, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Joseph E. and Esther Brown Wilkinson. He married Barbara Ingersoll on Nov. 16, 1990, in Dunlap. He was formerly married to Linda Flynn.

Barbara survives, along with two daughters, Kelley (Randall) Jones of Macomb and Renee (Dan) Happel of Des Moines, Iowa; two sons, Kevin Wilkinson of Southhaven, Miss., and Jeff (Dawn) Hawbaker of Floyd, Iowa; three grandchildren, Erica Van Fleet, Kaitlynn Hawbaker and Chayse Hawbaker; three great-grandchildren, Adrianne, Alexis and Ava; and one brother, Stephen (Margie) Wilkinson of Henderson, Nev.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Michael was executive vice president and chief operating officer of Shamrock Plastics.

Burial will be in Mt. Hawley Cemetery in Peoria.
