Duncan O’Brien (age 4), Patricia O’Brien (age 2), Elizabeth O’Brien (age l) and Seamus Jude (age l)

Education:

University of Iowa, Dental Hygiene Degree in 1963

I am currently continuing my education at University of Alaska South East. Where this will lead I don’t know, perhaps a degree in health education.

Occupation:

Being a wife and mother has “occupied” much of my life (not that I ever earned much money at it).

My income producing occupation has been, and continues to be, dental hygiene. I presently work for

A Native Alaskan Health Corporation in Juneau, Alaska.

Hobbies and Interests:

I spend much of my free time exploring the islands of South East Alaska and learning more about the culture of the Native Thlingit Indians of this region, many of whom are my patients.

I am lucky enough to be able to hike trails and shore lines where I can view eagles, whales and bears.
