Funeral services for Stella Weber of Lamar, MO will be held at 10:00 a.m. today, Wednesday, April 4 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Jacob Biemaci will officiate. Interment will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Steve Besse, Christopher Besse, Dennis Besse, Jerry Weber, Jimmy Weber, Steve Loudermilk. Honorary pallbearers are: Lonnie LaBoue and Scott McAfee. Daniel Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Stella, 86, died Sunday, April 1, 2001 at Christian Health Care of Nevada after a one month illness.

Stella Barbara Weber was born May 18, 1914 at Myer in Mitchell County, the daughter of Edward Frank and Lena (Klapperich) Hemann.

On February 18, 1939 she married George Joseph Weber at Myer.

Survivors include three sons: Duane of Lamar, MO, John of Sheldon, MO and Martin of Iantha, MO; three daughters: Mary Besse of Morgan City, LA, Caroline Weber of Kansas City, MO and Sandra Coy of Sheldon, MO; 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two brothers: Sylvester of Osage and Lawrence also of Osage.

Stella was preceded in death by her husband George on August 28, 1991; one daughter; one son; three brothers; and one sister.
