COUNCIL BLUFFS - Gregory James Tigges, 23, Council Bluffs, died Thursday, March 8,    2001 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital from complications of surgery.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 13 at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Church in Council Bluffs, with Rev. Chuck Kottas officiating.

Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation was Monday, March 12 at Belford-O’Neill Funeral Home in Council Bluffs.

Gregory was born Aug. 4, 1977 in Council Bluffs, the son of James and Geraldine (Jirak) Tigges. He graduated from Lewis Central High School in 1996. Gregory was a member of St. Peter’s Church.

Survivors include his parents, James and Geraldine Tigges and one brother, Steve Tigges, all of Council Bluffs.
