MOREHEAD CITY, NC -Irene "Gerry" Schueth Tervo, 74, died Saturday, March 24, 2001 after a long illness.

Celebration of Life services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 21 at tne Unitarian Coastal Fellowship, Morehead City, NC. The family will receive friends at the cnurch following the service. Brooks Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Morehead City, NC is m charge of the arrangements.

Gerry was born in New Hampton, the daughter of Jerome G. and Irene Schueth and was a graduate of New Hampton High School. She was a public health nurse, full time homemaker, realtor and past president of the New Bern Garden Club.

Survivors include her husband, John C. Tervo; three brothers, James Schueth and Donald Schueth, both of New Hampton and Robert Schueth, Indianapolis, IN; two daughters, Denise Tervo and Barbara Tervo, Pittsburgh, PA; two sons, Jay Tervo, Wilmington, NC and Matt Tervo, Gloucester, NC and four grandchildren.
