AUGUSTA, GA - Norris Ann (Shelly) Smith, 61, Augusta, GA and a former New Hampton resident, died Friday, Marcn 23 at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 27 at the Poteet Funeral Home -West Chapel in Augusta.

Entombment was in Bellevue Mausoleum in Augusta.

Shelly was a native of Des Moines and married John C. Smith. The couple owned and operated the Crystal Grill south of New Hampton for many years. She was a member of Eastern Star and Mize United Methodist Church in Augusta.

Surviving are her husband, John, Augusta, GA; two daughters, Sabrina Gay, Boone and Shannon Smith, Augusta, GA; one son, John C. Smith III, Augusta, GA; six grandchildren; one brother, Donald Shellenberger, Waterloo.

Memorials may be directed to the American Lung Association.
