NEW HAMPTON -_T Doris . Schluetter, 54, New Hampton died Friday, June 1, 2001 at the University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City of cancer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 5 at Immaculate Conception Church, North Washington with Rev. John W. Hemann celebrating the mass. Music for the service will be provided by Jane Karels as organist and the Immaculate Conception Men's Choir. Mar-lys Scnwickerath will be the lector.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, North Washington with Leroy Kapping, Michael Panoch, Randy Schluetter, Jeff Schluetter, Jamie Schluetter and Reed Palmersheim as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 3 to (S p.m. Monday, June 4 at Hugeback Funeral Home, New Hampton where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary. At the request of Doris, the casket will be closed.

Doris was born July 2, 1946 in New Hampton, the daughter of John and Lucille (Gardner) Schluetter. She. attended St. Mary's School in North Washington and graduated from the high school in 1964. Following graduation she moved to Cedar Rapids where she had worked for Graphic Circuits in Marion. In 1996, Doris moved to New Hampton and began working for the Tri/Mark Corporation.

Survivors include one daughter, Melanie Schluetter, St. Paul, MN; her mother, Lucille Schluetter, North Washington; one brother Bob (Rosemary) Schluetter, New Hampton and two sisters, Carol (Ray) Panoch, New Hampton and Lola Palmersheim, Omaha, NE.

Preceding her in death were her father, John and a brother, Ivan Schluetter.
