NEW HAMPTON - Dorothy L. Price 83, New Hampton, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2001 of natural causes New Hampton Care Center. 

Funeral Services were 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3 at Conway Funeral Home, New Hampton, with Reverend Catherine Luck, Pastor of the United Methodist Church presiding. There was an Order of Eastern Service at 5:30p.m.

Graveside Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5 in Belton, MO at the Belton Cemetery with a nephew, Reverend Robert Bullock presiding.

Visitation was 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3 at the funeral home.

Dorothy Lorene Price was born Aug. 19, 1918 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of William Marcus and Edna (Gloyd) Bullock. After graduating from Belton High School, she was employed as assistant manager of the Base Exchange (PX) at Richards-Gebaur Air Force Base in Belton. She married Charles Roy Price on Aug. 21,1937. They resided in Belton until moving to New Hampton in 1981. Charles died just a few months after the move. She was active in her church circle at the Methodist Church and with the New Hampton Senior Site. She also was a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Ann Brown, Cedar Falls; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, in 1981; a son, Gerald, in 1966, two brothers, William Bullock, in 1995 and a brother in infancy and one sister, Thelma Bullock, in 1936.
