PLEGGENKUHLE, Don 1939 - 2001

WAUCOMA- Don Pleggenkuhle, 61, died Saturday, April 28, 2001 at Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo following a sudden illness.

Private Memorial Services were held on Wednesday, May 2 at 3 p.m. at the Waucoma Funeral Chapel with visitation following services until 8 p.m. Officiant was Rev. Roger White.

Interment will be in the Alpha Cemetery at a later date.

Don was born Dec. 7,1939 in Sumner, the son of Elmer and Alice (Weitenhagen) Plegenkuhle. He married Sharon tt Dec. 10, 1960 at Aloha Methodist Church. He nad owned and operated the Alpha Feed Mill, worked for Henderson Manufacturing, Manchester as a salesman, was self-employed as a carpenter and sold advertising specialties. He enjoyed playing cards, hunting, fishing and visiting with his friends.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon; one daughter, Roxanne (John) Sloan, Pella; three sons, Bruce (Beth), Dallas, TX, Brad (Theresa), Denver and Britt, Alpha; his mother, Alice Pleggenkuhle Rose, Pinnellas Park, FL; one brother, Gary (Connie), Sierra Vista, AZ; one sister, Luanne Williams, lslamorda, FL and nine grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his father and grandparents.
