WATERLOO — Thomas R. Owen, 38, Waterloo and formerly of New Hampton, died Sunday, April 15 at the Covenant Medical Center emergency room in Waterloo. Cause of death is pending an autopsy.

Thomas was born April 18, 1962 in Waterloo, the son of James E. and Mailyn L. (McMahon) Owen Sr. He was employed by the House of Flowers in New Hampton.

Surviving are his mother, Mailyn Owen, Evansdale; a brother, James E. Owen Jr., Evansdale; two sisters, Linda Card, Evansdale and Molly Schipper, Aplington; and friena, Wanda Batcnelder, New Hampton.

Preceding him in death was his father.
