'NEW HAMPTON -- Gloria  J. (Costello) Meyer, 51, formerly of Nashua, died Thursday, Feb. 8 at Mercy Medical Center, New Hampton of cancer.

Funeral services were 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 12 at Republic Community Church, rural Ionia.

Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg.

Visitation was from 3 to. 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11 at the Chenoweth & Son Funeral Home, Nashua and one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.

Gloria was born Oct. 7, 1949 in Charles City, the daughter of Derwood and Marjorie (Blanchard) Costello. She attended Nashua High School. She married Tom Fritze on Sept. 1, 1966, they were later divorced. She married Calvin Meyer on June 1, 1983 at Republic Community Church, rural Ionia. Gloria worked for Sara Lee Bakery, New Hampton and then Tri/Mark Industries, New Hampton for the last 18 years.

Survivors include her husband, Calvin; two daughters, Lisa Fritze, New Hampton and Tammy Field, Pequot Lakes, MN; one step-son, Cnad Meyer, Red Wing, MN; her mother, Marjorie Nixt, Charles City; four sisters, Darlene Ayers, Dumont, Delores Grove, New Hampton, Du end a Zwanziger, Columbia, MO and Linda Lindner, Plainfield and six grandchildren

Preceding her in death were her father, Derwood G. Costello, step-father, Wilbert Nixt and a granddaughter, Rejhonna Ann Adamson.
