BLOOMINGTON, MN ~ Terrance D. McDermott, 59, Bloomington, MN, formerly of New Hampton, died Wednesday, July 25, 2001 at his Bloomington home.

A Memorial Mass was held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 18 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Carl Schmitt, Rev. Tom O'Neill and Rev. John Barnes as concelebrants.

Private Family Interment will take place at a later date.

Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at the church. Hugeback Funeral Home, New Hampton was in charge of arrangements.

Terry was born in New Hampton on Jan. 25, 1942, the son of Ray and Lillian (Speltz) McDermott. He was a graduate of New Hampton High School ind attended Loras College, Dubuque. He married Eileen Kelly and was later divorced.

Survivors include five sons: Sean and Kevin, Chicago, Michael, California, Cullen, LaCrosse, W1 and Phillip, Minneapolis, MN; his mother, Lillian McDermott, New Hampton; one sister, Connie McDermott, Minneapolis; three brothers, Tim, Omaha, NE, Tom and Pat, New Hampton; his former wife, Eileen Kelly, Bloomington and a special friend, Darla, Bloomington.

Preceding him in death were his father and one brother, Kevin.
