FREDERICKSBURG -Marjorie Mattke, 83, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2001 at the Hillcrest Home, Sumner of natural causes.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19 at Peace United Church of Christ, Fredericksburg.

Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 18 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Chenoweth & Son Funeral Home, Fredericksburg and one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.

Marjorie was born June 1, 1918 in Fredericksburg, the daughter of Glenn ana Lina (Jackson) Ellison. She graduated from Fredericksburg High School in 1936. She married Lyle Mattke on Oct. 6, 1936. She was a farm wife.

Survivors include one son, Curtis Mattke, Las Vegas, NV; two daughters, Rosalie Richardson and Margo Pleggen-kuhle, both of Fredericksourg; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Lyle, in 1986.
