NEW HAMPTON - Arleane "Auntie" Kenyon, 91, died Saturday, March 10, 2001 at the New Hampton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, New Hampton of natural causes.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 13 at Conway Funeral Home, New Hampton with Rev. Kevin Frey and Rev. David Bergstrom officiating. Edith Kolthoff will be the organist and will accompany those in attendance singing "Amazing Grace". "In The Hour Of Trial" and "He Touched Me" will be orgon solos

Burial will be ip the New Hampton Cemetery with Chad, Tom, Dennis and Jon Sweitzer and Tony and Archie Trower serving as casket bearers.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, March 12 at Conway Funeral Home, New Hampton and an hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Lola Arleane Kenyon was born June 30, 1909 in New Hampton, the daughter of Herman and Clara (Yearling) Vick. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She was a 1927 graduate of New Hampton High School. She was united in marriage to Veryle Kenyon on June 28, 1928. Arleane worked at the ^Chickasaw County, Courthouse for many years. She was a 4-H leader in 1939 until she resigned to become County Chairman in 1946. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the American Legion Auxiliary where she helci offices in the unit and also in the county and was a member of the Come and Go Bridge Club. She enjoyed making crafts and playing cards.

Survivors include a niece and nephews and their families.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Verlye, in 1980; a nephew Lee Sweitzer and his daughter Christine and nephews Dick and Veryle Sweitzer.
