WAUCOMA - Word has been received of the death of Catherine Mary Flynn Hudson, 85, in early July, 2001 in Seattle, WA.

Catherine Mary Flynn was born in Waucoma on Oct. 27, 1915, the daughter of John and Theresa (Brannon) Flynn. She attended St. Mary's School and Waucoma Public School, graduating from Mason City High School in 1934. Catherine attended computer school in Davenport and then served as a committee clerk in the State Legislature on two different occasions. She married Charles Rathcamp in Davenport in June 1942. They operated the Waucoma Locker before moving to Seattle, WA. The couple later divorced and Catherine married Robert Hudson.

Surviving are one daughter, Ellen; two grandchildren; one sister, Ruth.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Robert; one daughter, Ardath; one grandson, Michael Kelly; four brothers, Darrold, William, Forrest and Joseph; one sister, Mildred Marron.
