HOSTING, John V. 1918 - 2001

WAUCOMA - John Virgil Hosting, 82, died suddenly at his home in Hamilton, OH on Sunday evening, March 4, 2001 of natural causes.

Services were held on Saturday, March 10 in Hamilton.

John was born April 27, 1918 at rural Waucoma, the son of Joseph G. and Mary (Coburn) Hosting. He received his schooling at Waucoma, graduating with the class of 1936; John farmed, and after his marriage to Wayna Drague, the couple moved to Hamilton, OH. He* was employed by the Fischer Company as a crane operator and has been retired for some time.

Surviving are his wife, Wayna; a son, Lamar (Digna); a stepdaughter, Karen; several grandchildren; two sisters, Ellen 2ieske and Dorothy O'Day, both of Fredericksburg; two brothers, Myrle, Fort Morgan, CO and Henry, Winona, MN; nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were two brothers, Clair in 1980 and Francis in 1996.
