Funeral services for Robert Hazlett of Vacaville, CA were held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 7, at the Nadeau Family Funeral Home in Vacaville with the Rev. Duane Robinson, a nephew, officiating. Interment was in Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.

Robert, 72, died Monday, June 4, 2001 in his Vacaville home after a short illness.

Robert L. Hazlett was born October 26, 1927 in Riceville. He attended John Sweatt High School in his younger years.

Robert had been a Pipe Insulator for 40 years with the Insulator and Asbestos Industry of Northern California, #16.

He was a member of the S.H.A.R.E. program in Vacaville and was a third Degree Master Mason in the F. & A.M., Hiram Tahoe Lodge, #43 in Eldorado, CA. He formerly resided in South Lake Tahoe for ten years as well as Rodeo, CA for 35 years.

He is survived by two daughters: Jane Hazlett and Susan Hazlett both of Vacaville; two grandchildren; and one sister: Ellen Benone of Pinole, CA.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife Lucille in 1999.
