A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 Tuesday, Dec. 4 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, New Hampton with Rev. John Harpel celebrating the mass. Music for the service will be provided by Sr. Lorraine Loecher as organist, Jenny Baltes and Pat Felder. The pall will be placed on the casket by her three sons. Lectors will be Tom Galligan and Mark Galligan. The offertory gifts will be presented by Lona Sweitzer, Karen Meirick and Paula Laures. Eucharistic ministers will be Mary Winter, Colleen Leichtman and Nancy Wegner.

Interment will be in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Lawler with grandsons Wayne Galligan, Dave Galligan, Bob Galligan, Denny Galligan, Ken Galligan and Dick Galligan as pallbearers. Grandchildren

Visitation was'3-8p.m! Monday, Dec. 3 at Hugeback Funeral Home, New Hampton, where there was a 4 p.m. Catholic Daughters of America Rosary, a 6:30 p.m. Scripture Service and a 7 p.m. Video Memorial Tribute. Further visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the church.

Florence was born July 30, 1901 in Hustisford, WI, the daughter of Eugene and Lillian (Ellingson) Underwood. The family moved to New Hampton in 1910 where Florence attended grade school and high school. Florence married Joseph Galligan on Nov. 4, 1924 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Lawler. Survivors include three sons, Duane Galligan, Chuck (Janet) Galligan and Jim (Doris) Galligan, all of New Hampton; 22 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and eight

freat-great grandchildren; one rother, Vincent (Rita) Underwood, Mesa, AZ; two sisters, Iva Cutsforth, Waterloo and Marion (Walter) Mackey, Seattle, WA.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Joseph; a grandson, Joseph P. Galligan; a great-grandson, Jon Galligan; a daughter-in-law, Celine Galligan and six brothers, Ray, Merle, Lynn, Claude, Ed and Russ Underwood.
