\Funeral services for Lillian Winkels of Mclntire will be held at St. Peter & Paul Church in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. on Saturday, May 6, at 10:30 with visitation from 9:00 - 10:30. Ritchay Funeral Home of Wisconsin Rapids is handling the arrangements. Memorial services are pending at the Immaculate Conception Church.

Lillian Rickl Bakenbush Winkels was born February 23, 1913 to George and Theresa (Wallner) Rickl at Sherry, Wis. She married Edward Bakenbush in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. on May 26, 1931. He died on November 22, 1942.

She married Albin Winkels on July 17, 1946 and they lived on a farm west of Mclntire, Iowa until January 1977 when they retired and moved to their present home. Albin passed away on August 2, 1992.

She is survived by her children, Lois Winkels, Plainfield, IL. and Merlin Bankenbush Minneapolis, Minn., and step-children, Albert Winkels, Mclntire and Marlene (Arleigh) Canny of Owatonna, Minn.; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren, eight great-step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Clarence and Leonard; and two husbands. Surviving is a sister, Mary Ashbeck, Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.
