Funeral services for Mildred Klomps of Harmony were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 27 at the United Methodist Church in Harmony. The Rev. David Lacchel officiated. Interment was in Greenleafton Cemetery, rural Preston, MN. Lindstrom Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Mildred, 92, died Sunday, January 23, 2000 at the Harmony Community Nursing Home.

Mildred Klomps was born December 4, 1907 at Cherry Grove, MN, the daughter of Henry and Jane Wesselink.

On July 3, 1928 she married Ernest Hebrink. They farmed in the area until they purchased the Bristol Center Store. Upon retirement they moved to Harmony. Ernst died on September 9, 1977. She manied Harold Klomps on September 26, 1980 and he passed away on December 20,1985.

Survivors include three sons: Arlin Hebrink of Granger, Jerry Hebrink of Cresco, and Loyal Hebrink of Lime Springs; two step-daughers: Dorothy Knutson of Dodge Center, MN, and Elsie Scott of Ely, MN; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one brother Howard of Spring Valley, MN.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husbands: Ernest and Harold; and one sister: Pearl.
