A Memorial Service was held Tuesday at Wayne Baptist Church in Mclntire, Iowa for Lois Kellogg, 91, Adams and formerly of LeRoy, who died early Saturday, April 1,2000, at Austin Medical Center where she had been a patient since Wednesday.

The Rev. Gary Gilbert officiated at the 10:30 a.m. service. A private family burial was held at Wayne Cemetery, Mclntire.

She was born Oct. 19, 1908 in Mitchell County, Iowa, daughter of Irvin Wheeler and Cora Shumway Wheeler. She graduated from Mclntire High School and married Howard G. Shipman July 20, 1943 in Omaha, Nebr. He died Feb. 20, 1949, and she married Frank W. Kellogg April 1, 1951 in Riceville. He also preceded her in death on Feb. 6, 1966. She was a member of Wayne Baptist Church, Mclntire.

Survivors include a daughter, Beth (Don) Habicht, Worthington, Minn., and a son, Harold (Joann) Shipman, LeRoy; a granddaughter, Stephanie and grandson, Steven. Also a brother, Warren Wheeler, Riceville and a sister, Olive Trettin, Grafton, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands and one brother, Clyde Wheeler.

Hindt-Hutchins Funeral Home, LeRoy, was in charge of arrangements.
