Kelly Karson, age 40, formerly of Mclntire, passed away at the use Norris Inpatient Unit in Mason City after an extended illness March 15, 2000. Funeral services were held at the Riceville tited Methodist Church on Saturday, March 18, 2000. with Rev. lythe Hill officiating. Burial was at Wayne Township Cemetery in McIntire.

Kelly was born on May 28, 1959 to Willard and Evelyn Erickson istman in Riceville. She attended local schools and was a graduate Riceville High School. She was a graduate of Capri School of ismetology in Mason City, Iowa.

Survivors include two daughters: Tiffany Kruse of Riceville and tssidy McCarthy of Owatonna, Minn.; her father, Bill Eastman of trpenter, Iowa; two sisters: Susan Hegge of Rose Creek, Minn, and lli Jo Hummel of Richardson, Tex.; and one brother, Jacob [Stman of Decorah, Iowa. Also surviving is a special friend, Randy iristey of Owatonna, Minn.

Kelly was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn, in 1997.
