Ruby Clarice Hueman, 88Services were held Wednesday, Jan 26 for Ruby Clarice Hueman, 88, Adams, who died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2000, in the Adams Health Care Center. The Rev. Fr. Gregory Leif officiated at the 11 a.m. services in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment was in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Adams. She was bom June 25, 1911, in Adams Township, Minn.,, daughter of Robert and Clara (Qualey) Anderson. She worked for Hormel Food Corp., and then married William Hueman Feb. 21, 1933 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin. After their marriage they moved to Taopi, and then to LeRoy and Austin for a few years before moving back to Taopi until 1957 when they moved to Adams. While living in Taopi she worked as a cook for the school many years and belonged to the Taopi Birthday Club. A member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, she was involved in many church activities. She enjoyed cooking, canning, cross-stitch and embroidering, and also gardening. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Survivors are her husband, William Hueman; daughters and sons-in-law Clarice and Herman King, Rochester; Louise and loren Monson, .LeRoy: LaVonne and Jerome Landherr, Adams; LaDonna Hueman,j Austin; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Mary Hueman, Bloom-, ing Prairie and Richard and Linda Hueman, Adams. Also 15 grand-- children; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; a sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Kenneth Sprau, Austin; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Grace and Rolland Ross of Adams, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Raymond Heuman; grandsons, Kevin King and Mark King; a great-granddahguter, Katlin King; two brothers, a sister, and a son-in-law, Vernon Mullenbach. At the services organist was Helen King and soloist Jan Johnson; honorary pallbearers were Bill Hueman and Nick Hueman, and pallbearers were James Hueman, Mitch Hueman, Dan King, David King, Brad King, and Ray Monson.
