EXERCISES AT UNION SCHOOLS.

 

Examinations of the Public Schools commences in room No. 5, old building, Tuesday noon, and closes Friday afternoon with literary exercises. Examinations in No. 1, 2, 3, and 4, both buildings, commences Wednesday morning and closes Thursday afternoon with literary exercises. Examination of the colored school will take place on Thursday. The Board appointed the following committees to attend the examinations.

ROOM No. 5 – Rev. E. Gunn, Rev. J. C. McClintock, Mr. Bennett, Dr. Kern, J. W. Mansfield, Dr. A. W. McClure, and E. A. VanCise.

ROOMS No. 1, 2, 3, and 4 – OLD BUILDING - W. A. Colby, W. C. Hawley, B. G. Walters, R. Wilson, W. P. Smith, E. Crane, R. Hatton, J. P. Grantham, Levi Snell, and Dr. Bird.

ROOMS No. 1, 2, 3, and 4 – NEW BUILDING - Joshua Martin, Joseph Howe, G. C. Van Allen, Dr. Robinson, C. F. Devol, W. H. Hatch, and A. Roads.

COLORED SCHOOL – W. R. Cole, J. H. White, Thomas Marshal and Rev. O. H. Nichols.
The public are invited to these examinations.
