County Men Who Lost Their Lives In War Are Listed
A list of the Henry County men who paid the supreme sacrifice in World War II has been compiled by the War Records division of the Department of History and Archives of Iowa. The list is being published herewith as prepared by the department. Bessie B. Wilson, of the War Records division, writes that the department experiences difficulty in that more than one county claims the same casualty. Local persons may question whether or not all of the names listed are from Henry County or may know of others who should be added. Corrections will be welcomed.
