Pvt. Everett Tyson

Pvt. Everett Tyson, son of Burt and the late Mrs. Elvira Tyson, entered the service July 16, 1943 and was reported "missing in action" November 11, 1944. He took his training at Ft. Meade, Md, and began his overseas service with the 34th Infantry division in July, 1944.

Everett was wounded in front line action September 23, 1944 and received the purple heart decoration. He returned to the front lines November 3, 1944. The "missing in action" report is the last his wife Mrs. Bertha Tyson, has received from the government.
