Patrick Augustus 'Gus' Casey was the youngest child of
Patrick and Bridget McManus Casey. He was born 28 Feb 1858,
Meriden, Earl Township, LaSalle County, Illinois; d. 7 Jan 1942 Mason
City, Cerro Gordo County, Iowa.

This is an early photo of Patrick Augustus 'Gus' and
Mary Quirk C
asey with son Francis 'Frank' Edward. It was
taken at a time when the Gus Casey family lived in Grand Junction,
Greene County, Iowa.
Gus and Mary were married 23 Sep 1884, Delaware County,
Iowa. They were married by Fr. Michael J. Quirk, pastor St.
Brigid's Church, Grand Junction, Iowa 1879-1887. Mary Quirk
Casey was Fr. Quirk's sister and housekeeper. The Casey's lived very
near the rectory and were members of St. Brigid's Church.
Gus was b. 18 Feb 1858, Meriden, Earl Township, LaSalle County,
Illinois; d. 7 Jan 1942, Mason City, Cerro Gordo County, Iowa.
