Population 400. An incorporated town on the M. & St. L. Ry., in Paton
township, Greene county, 16 miles n. e. of Jefferson, the county seat.
9 from Grand Junction and 59 from Des Moines. Has Catholic, German
Evangelical, Methodist Episcopal and Presbyterian churches, a bank
and a weekly newspaper, the Paton Portrait. Exp. U. S. Tel., W. U. Exp., Adams.
