Eight Iowans on Today's Lists
Washington, Oct. 24 -- Eight Iowans were mentioned
in today's casualty lists which carried a total of 700 names
divided as follows. Killed in action, 87; died of wounds, 40;
died from accident and other causes, 5; died of disease, 45;
wounded severely, 185; wounded, degree undetermined, 173; wounded
slightly, 83; missing in action, 62; prisoners, 4. The Iowans
