John Christen and Mary Theus well known young people who reside east
of town, were united in marriage at Elkader, Tuesday, August 21,
1906, at eleven o'clock a.m. In the evening a large number of
friends of the young people assembled at the home of John Christen
where a sumptuous wedding supper and a pleasant time were
enjoyed. As a seasonable hour the guests departed for home wishing
the couple prosperity and happiness. Mr. and Mrs. Christen have
commenced keeping house on the farm adjoining his parents house. |
