Miss Mildred Haefel had as Sunday dinner
guests Dr. and Mrs. John Dorman, Misses Mary Jones, Dora Carter,
Ethel V. Nagle, Ruth Garfoot, Maude Felter and Mrs. A. J. Fox.
From Mrs. A. J. Fox we learn of the death on
Feb. 27 of Mrs. A. C. Lewis (Bertha McAlpin) of Corning, N.Y. Mrs.
Lewis lived in Fayette years ago and the Lewis family were residents
of near Randalia. She was about 80 years of age.

HONORED ON BIRTHDAY
Miss Mary Jones and Mrs. M. Lee Hathaway
entertained a compnay of friends Thursday evening at the Hathaway
home in honor of the birthday anniversary of Mrs. A. J. Fox. Bridge
prizes were won by Miss Mildred Haefel and Mrs. L. C. Smith. A guest
prize was presented to Mrs. Fox.

Personals
Mrs. Mary Davis was honor guest at a party
Monday afternoon at the home of Mrs. A. J. Fox. The occasion was her
81st birthday anniversary. Bridge was playaed at three tables and
delicious refreshments were served. The party was given by her
daughter-in-law, Mrs. P. E. Davis.
