Personals
The March Birthday Club was entertained Tuesday
at the home of Mrs. E. B. Bogert. 1 o'clock picnic luncheon was
served. Twenty-two ladies were present. The senior member of the
group, was Mrs. J. H. Tracy, who has passed her 87th milestone.
three new members were added: Mrs. Mary Hitchings, Mrs. B. G.
Moeller and Mrs. Jennie Tumi. The program arranged by Mesdames A. J.
Fox and A. B. Curler was as follows: A vocal duel by Mrs. Veru
Rowland and daughter, Jacquelyn, selections by the high school
girls' sextette under the direction of Miss Maxwell, and the reading
of a group of poems by Venita Chaumbley. Mrs. Harold Ash was chosen
chairman for the 1943 meeting, succeeding Mrs. Thomas Kuhnes, and
Mrs. E. A. Billings was re-elected secretary and treasurer.
