MONDAY, Sept. 1, 2 o'clock p.m.
Board convened in the County Auditor's office. H.S. Brunson in the chair. Members all present.
Minutes of the special session of July 21, 1873, read and approved.
Ordered that the levy of taxes for the year A.D. 1873, be as follows:
For State Revenue 2 mills on the dollar.
For Bridge Revenue 3 mills on the dollar.
For School Revenue 1 mills on the dollar.
For County Revenue 4 mills on the dollar.
and a poll tax of 50 cents.
For Poor Revenue 1 mill on the dollar.
For Insane Revenue 1 mills on the dollar.

In pursuance of the provisions of Chap. 26 of the "General and Public" laws of the Fourteenth General Assembly, it is hereby ordered and declared that the length of the main track and the assessed value (as fixed by the State Census Board) of the B.C.R. & M.R.R. lying in the following townships, to wit:

Ordered that the following roads be established as per plats and held notes on file, viz.:
No. 310, Butler Road.
No. 311, Thormann, Road.
No. 316,. Gudmunson's Attraction
No. 318, Siege Bead.
No. 320. Andersons "Alteration of the Gray Road No. 273.
--Ordered that No. 313, Stones Vacation be continued to Oct 21, 183
--Ordered that that part of Hanson's Relocation No. 314, that relates to that to the Vacation of the Auchampaugh Road be established, and that the new road petitioned for be not established as per recommendation of the commissioner.
--Ordered that the Bruce Road No. 315, be not established. It appearing that sufficient notice of the presentation of the petition in said road had not been given.
--Ordered that Butchinson's Alteration No. 31, be not established. It appears that said Alteration would not be of public benefit.
--Ordered that No. 319, Resurvey of the Lynch Road be continued to Sept. 3, 1873.
--Ordered that the following roads be established as per plats and field notes on file, on payment by petiotioners of all costs and damages. Provided said costs and damages are paid within one year from date, viz:
No. 309, Barry Road.
No. 312, Spears Road.
--Ordered that the report of Mr. Stedman, who was appointed to examine the Johnston Road No. 294 be accepted, and that said road he fully established.

BRIDGE APPROPRIATIONS
Ordered that the following bridge appropriations (or so much thereof as may be necessary) be made, and the County Auditor is hereby authorized to draw warrants on the Treasurer for the same. All voting in the affirmative.

To build Weatherbee Bridge Banks township $195.00
To build bridge across Warner Creek Clermont township $200.00
To repair Fremont Center Bridge, Fremont township $5.00

To repair bridge across Otter Creek on the Baldwin road PI. Valley township $26.60
To repair Bassett Bridge Smithfield township $9.00
To repair Elfin Bridge $83.23

W E D N E S D A Y , Sept. 3,1873, at 8 o'clock A.M.

Board met pursuant to adjournment.
Members all present.
Ordered that the survey and plat of No. 319 Resurvey of the Lynch Road be approved, and the County Auditor is hereby ordered to record said survey and plat in the proper road record of the county.

Ordered that the contract made with the Trustees of the U. B. Church of West Union, for the use of their church building for court purposes at $5 per day for the day for the time actually used be approved. And the County Auditor is hereby instructed to draw warrants on the Treasurer in payment of said rent as the same becomes due. All voting in this affirmative.

Ordered that Mr. Snedigar be appointed a committee on the bridge between Sec's 25 and 26 Harlan township, and also on bridge across Little Wappsie, on Fremont Center road, Fremont township, to report at next Oct Session.

Ordered that Messrs. Stedman and Snedigar be appointed a committee in the Brockway bridge Eden township, to report at next October session.

Ordered that the proposition of H.F. Horton to build an Iron Bridge at Clermont for the sum of $3280 be accepted, and that the supervision of the building; of said bridge be attended to by the committee of the whole.
