TWILIGHT CHAPTER, ORDER OF EASTERN STAR NO. 59, SPIRIT LAKE, IOWA.
Was organized in the year 1877 and worked under dispensation until February 26, 1880. < The first worthy matron under dispensation was Mrs. Fanny Jemerson.

February 26, 1880, a charter was granted them with Mrs. Anna Rice as worthy matron. The following named persons have held the office of worthy matrons up to the present time: Mrs. Francis I. Pillsbury, Mrs. Hattie Lamham, Mrs. Anna Palmer, Mrs. Annie Miller, Mrs. Emma Rector, Mrs. Clara Davis. Mrs. Clara Davis is the present matron. The chapter now has 92 members.
