Leon Reporter, Leon, Iowa Thursday, September 22, l92l A convention of undertakers of southern Iowa and northern Missouri was held at the undertaking parlors of F.S. STEWART in this city, Monday, at which Prof. A.B. Seran, of Chicago, made a fine demonstration of demi-surgery. Acceptances had been received from a large number of undertakers, and it was expected there would be in the neighborhood of one hundred and fifty in attendance, but the heavy rains prevented their attendance, as most of them had planned on driving to this city. Leon Reporter, Leon, Iowa Thursday, September 29, 1921 Several changes in the list of birth and death registrars have been made by the Board of Supervisors in the list as published a couple of weeks ago, several districts being consolidated, the number of registrars being reduced to ten.
