New Garage Nearing Completion.

The new garage of C. M. Akes is rapidly nearing completion. The workmen are now putting in the concrete floors in the basement, the room is all on and the front will be in within a few days. It is going to be the finest garage in this part of the state and Charley is figuring on having a big opening as soon as the garage is completed so that he can show the several lines of cars which he will carry in stock.

Enlarging Store.

Estes & Co.'s business has been increasing so rapidly that they find that one store room is not large enough, so they have leased the room to the south of their present store in the opera house block, which was formerly occupied by a billiard parlor, and workmen are cutting an archway through to connect the two rooms. They will place their racket goods stock in the south room and the north room will be used exclusively for the grocery department. The billiard parlor was moved to the Warner building just north of Wm. Pleuss' meat market.
