The Leon Reporter Leon, Decatur County, Iowa November 03, 1910 Auto Burned. A fine new Middleby auto owned by Dr. Goff of Lamoni, was destroyed by fire Tuesday night. He had been running the car and put it in the garage, turning out the aoetyline lights, and a few minutes after the machine was enveloped in flames, and was totally destroyed. The Leon Reporter Leon, Decatur County, Iowa November 03, 1910 McCalla Attends Regiment Reunion. W. H. McCalla, of Davis City, returned Saturday from a three weeks visit at Montezuma, where he went to attend the reunion of his regiment, the 10th Iowa Infantry, of which he was a member of Co. F. Mr. McCalla says that land up where he was is selling considerably higher than here in Decatur county, but that it is not as good and they did not raise as good crops as we did right here in Decatur county.
