Clinton -- In his baccalaureate sermon, the Rev. Edward Taylor, college chaplin, gave no promises for the future in wealth, happiness, or success to the Mt. St. Clare graduates on May 28. Nevertheless, he stated that a pessimistic outlook was not in order either.
In pointing out the goal that graduates should strive for, Father Taylor cited two saintly examples, that of the Little Flower, who saw in the sea, when she first set eyes on it at seven, God and His eternal magesty. st. Aloysius, who scorned the world with the question on his lips, "How does this look in the light of Eternity?"
Ending the servies with solemn Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament the St. Cecelia choir sang "Cor Jesu" (McGrath), "Tantum Ergo" (Singenberger) and "Jubilate Den" (Arbinger).
