TEACHERS ARE NAMED FOR THE COMING YEAR
The teachers roster for the coming school year of 1920-1921 has been announced and the list is a good one. The preparations for the opening of school are going forward and it is hoped that when the school bell rings on the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 7th, every child of school age will be in their places in the school room.

PUBLIC SCHOOLS ARE TO OPEN ON SEPTEMBER 7TH
The Lyons public schools are to open Tuesday, Sept. 7th.
All those who wish to see the superintendent relative to entering school may do so by coming to the office in the High school building any morning next week, the week previous to the opening of school.
Following you will find a full list of the books and the price of each for the different grades. Most of these books you have on hand, probably. In the even you do not get the books that are necessary to make your list complete and have them ready for the opening of school on Tuesday morning, September 7th.
The books will be on sale at the superintendent's office in the High school building on Friday and Saturday, September 2d and 4th.
