1910 - Millville Farmers
Telephone Co.
The first annual meeting of the Millville
Farmers Telephone Company was held in Becker's hall of
this place Monday. The meeting was very largely attended.
A feature of the session was the address given by Mr. M.
J. Berger, the Vote-Berger Co., of LaCrosse, his subject
being "The value of a Telephone." The officers
elected are:
President - George Friedman
Vice-President - Wm. Welsh
Sec. and Treas. J. A. Smith
Directors - Geo. Friedman, Wm. Wesch, J. A. Smith, John
Becker, John Livingston, Nicholas Schaul
The Millville Farmers Telephone Company was organized
several months ago, and is the consolidation of six rural
telephone companies in the vicinity of Millville. Legal
steps for completion of the incorporation are about
completed.

At a meeting, recently held, the Garber Farmers'
Telephone Co., was organized and the following named

Clayton County Farmers Mutual Telephone Company was held
at the Town Hall, Monday afternoon, October 6th. The
