~Notes: The name of his father was Johann (John) Frederick Schrunk. He often went by J.F. Schrunk. I am the ggg-granddaughter of Johann (John) Frederick Schrunk on both my mother's and my father's side. Joseph Shrunk was a brother to both my gg-grandfather on my mother's side, and a brother to my gg-grandmother on my father's side. There was a Fredereck Schrunk, actually two of them. One was the son of Johann Frederick Schrunk (and brother to Joseph) and another was Joseph's son. This is why I feel it is important to clarify the father of Joseph Schrunk as Johann Frederick instead of Frederick since it would be confusing to someone who is not familiar with the Schrunk family tree..... contributed by Lori Finch-Klooster, December 2009.
