Ole Evenson, a native or Norway,
was born Sept. 29, 1827. He was educated in the schools
of Norway. In 1851 he emigrated to the United States,
stopping in Rock County, Wis., working on farms and in
saw-mills. In 1856 he bought 160 acres of land in Wagner
Township, where he settled. Has since bought 80 acres
more. Has a fine residence, built five years since, and a
well improved farm. He was married in 1857 to Miss Helga
Johnson, born Aug. 17, 1829. They have seven children -
Even, John, Raile, Jane, Tillie, Christena, Ole. Both
